Installing the Build Tools package
What is the Build Tools package?
The kwbuildtools package is a zip archive which contains the following components:
- The build integration tools (kwinject, kwant)
- The analysis engine
- Tools required to interact with the remote server (kwauth, kwadmin, kwdeploy, kwbuildproject)
- Command-line analysis tools (kwciagent)

How to install the Build Tools package
Prerequisite: The Build Tools package requires access to a Klocwork Server for configuration information and to publish results. The Server may be local or remote.
- Unzip the kwbuildtools.<version>.<platform>.zip to your desired location on your local machine.
- Run kwdeploy to sync any custom checkers and/or compiler filter files you have deployed on the Klocwork Server. Note that you need to re-run kwdeploy whenever new files are deployed on the server. For example:
kwdeploy sync --url http(s)://<host>:<port>
