Database loading and propagation errors

This article provides troubleshooting information related to the Database Server.

Check...	Then...
your servers with validate service check or Windows Services Administration	verify that the servers are running if the servers aren't running, then check the error messages in the database log: `<projects_root>/logs`
your memory allocation	you may need to do one or all of the following: increase your memory allocation to the Java Virtual Machine, as described here: Java memory problems when running Klocwork applications adjust Database Server settings to improve performance as described in Improving database performance
your connectivity to the Klocwork Database Server with this command: `telnet <DatabaseServer_host_name> <DatabaseServer_port_number>`	if you're not connected, talk to your IT administrator
