Organizing your code into modules

A module is a subset of your project's code base, reflecting the physical structure of your code. Modules can help you:

• create search queries and views
• create and use reports
• control access to source code

Prerequisites

If an access control method has been set, you must have the Project admin role or have the 'manage modules' permission to create and edit modules. In order to add or change access permissions on a module, you need the 'assign role' permission (which a Project admin has by default).

You must also create a project.
