Resolving conflicts with other tools that use Reprise License Manager

Normally you should be able to use several tools, including Validate, on one machine using Reprise License Manager. If, however, you experience a conflict between the Validate License Server and one or more other tools running on the same machine and using Reprise License Manager licensing, set the PRQA_LICENSE environment variable to point to the Validate License Server as follows:

PRQA_LICENSE=<port>@<host>

where

• <port>@<host> is the port and the host name or IP address the License Server is running on
