Writing custom C/C++ checkers
Klocwork provides a large number of checkers to search for defects and vulnerabilities in C/C++ code. If you have a defect you want to find in your code that Klocwork doesn't look for, you can create a custom checker to do the job. (See C/C++ checker reference for details of checkers that are available by default.)
The Klocwork Extensibility Interface is installed as part of the Klocwork Command Line tools.
You must have a working version of a C/C++ compiler installed and available to create custom checkers, for example, GCC for Linux, or CL for Windows.
