Tutorial: Create a taxonomy and view analysis results

This section explains how to do the following:

• Set up a taxonomy in Validate to support an internal coding policy
• Apply the taxonomy in Validate and on connected desktops

The example organization used in this tutorial has a policy to flag and eliminate the following:

• Null-Pointer Dereference (NPD) issues
• Buffer Overflow (ABR and ABV) issues
• The security vulnerabilities SV.INCORRECT_RESOURCE_HANDLING.URH and SV.INCORRECT_RESOURCE_HANDLING.WRONG_STATUS
