Import a configuration file into Validate

This section explains how to import a configuration file into Validate. You can import a configuration file (up to 2 GB) and reuse it for other projects.

For many projects, use the command kwadmin import-config.
  1. In Validate, from the Projects tab, select the project to upload the configuration file to. The project details appear.
  2. In the project details, click Configuration.
  3. Under Configuration Files, click Add configuration file.
  4. Locate the configuration file, for example:
    5. <projects_root>/projects/<project_name>/rules/analysis_profile.pconf

    Where:

    • <project_name> is the name of the project with the configuration file that you want to copy
  5. Double-click the configuration file, then click Upload. The configuration file is updated.
