Auth Tools

The Auth Tools package (kwauthtools) package contains kwauth version 24.2+.

If your Validate Server is configured to use SAML or OIDC, you must install kwauth from the Auth Tools package under any of the following conditions:

You are a desktop user with the Visual Studio extension installed, and you are using only the classic engine for analysis.
You are a desktop user with the Visual Studio extension installed, and you are using a version of the modern engine for analysis that is supported by version 24.1 or earlier of the command-line tools.
You are running a build process through version 24.1 or earlier of the Build Tools package.
You are using version 24.1 or earlier of the command-line tools package, or a plugin that comes with it.
You are using a plugin that allows you to specify a version of the command-line tools to support analysis, and you specified version 24.1 or earlier.
